Tormenta en Nuevo Laredo, causa severos daños; deja sin luz a 157 mil usuarios
TAMAULIPAS. - Una fuerte tormenta azotó en Nuevo Laredo con vientos de hasta 150 kilómetros por hora, lo que provocó destrozos en la ciudad. Entre los daños están la afectación al suministro de energía eléctrica, caída de espectaculares y techos, así como inundaciones en ciertos sectores. ACCESOZAC.
La Comisión Federal de Electricidad, precisó que los fuertes vientos generaron daños en 11 líneas de trasmisión, colapsando 14 estructuras, 141 postes y una antena de comunicación.

Esto causó la interrupción del suministro de energía eléctrica a 157 mil 228 usuarios y hasta el momento se ha restablecido el servicio a 33 mil 014 que representan el 21%.
Las autoridades de Protección Civil y Bomberos así como de la Comisión Federal de Electricidad trabajan para restablecer el servicio y habilitar las vialidades obstruidas.
Esta mañana el director de Protección Civil de Tamaulipas, Pedro Granados, en entrevista con MILENIO Televisión, señala que la reparación de la energía eléctrica será gradual, ya que es una gran cantidad de instalaciones dañadas y la Comisión Federal de Electricidad no cuenta con los trabajadores necesarios debido a la cantidad de daños pero recalca que ellos tendrán una línea de prioridad de atención.
Hasta el momento la cifra de daños sigue en aumento.
Gran parte de la ciudad continúa sin energía eléctrica, sin servicio de agua potable y también se reportan fallas en el sistema de internet así como servicio de datos en diferentes compañías de celulares.
Para la atención de la emergencia, se han dispuesto 248 trabajadores electricistas, 75 vehículos y 43 grúas.
Granados menciona que la lluvia fue un tipo de tromba por los fuertes vientos y el corto tiempo de duración que dejó 35 mm a 40 mm de lluvia. “Hemos estado teniendo lluvias temporales desde moderadas hasta fuertes puntuales pero muy benéficas y muy necesarias y esperadas principalmente por el sector agropecuario”.
Por otra parte menciona que se encontraron 2 personas fallecidas en la vía pública pero se desconoce las causas de la muerte.
Exhorta a la población a tener mucho cuidado al circular por el tema del cableado eléctrico debido a que muchos siguen emitiendo energía pero otros no. Aquellas colonias que estén afectadas por inundación deberán ponerse en contacto con protección civil u otras autoridades que estén atendiendo reportes en las calles debido a que algunas líneas telefónicas de los servicios de emergencia tienen fallas y complica las actividades.
